Extreme is available and I've not found any problems with the spotify client on the DX100.

Spotify works ok and you can sync for offline. Just remember to go into spotify settings and set the quality to the highest available.

I tried your file on mine and it is displayed correctly. Latest firmware V1.1.7

Go into the main dx100 settings Settings>Sound>Volume and set the media volume to max. Normal volume then controls the sound.
