Sennheiser IE 80 or RHA T20?

Hi, everyone! I had the Sennheisers IE 80's for a few months. They were my first high-end pair of headphones and I loved their sound, especially the sound stage (it took a bit of getting used to, though).   But I, being the not-so-smart person I am, lost them somehow and now I'll need a new...

SanDisk Sansa Clip+ vs Galaxy S3 sound quality

I'm kind of on a budget and I'd like to buy a new phone, but since I'd use it heavily for music, I started thinking about stuff. I know Nexus 5 would probably be perfect, but that's a bit too expensive. Then I thought I'd be glad with a Galaxy S3. I heard bad stuff about S2's sound quality...

Headphones for both computer and smartphone

Hi everyone. Essentially, both pairs of my headphones are broken or working poorly. I used one of them with my phone and the other one for my PC. I was wondering if I could get a nice pair of headphones that would replace both at once. As of now, I have Jaybird Bluebuds X on my mind, the...

    foobar2000 "cuts" audio

Nooo... why would I? I listen to music from the hard drive that's in the PC, not networked. And it's plugged into my router with a cable, not through Wi-Fi or something.

    foobar2000 "cuts" audio

I have an 7200RPM HDD, but it don't think this could be a problem (as I said, it works fine in Windows Media Player). I changed the power management from balanced to high performance, but it didn't help, unfortunately :/

    foobar2000 "cuts" audio

I've been using foobar2000 and noticed some weird things with its audio playback. Basically, a couple seconds into the track it suddenly stops playing it for like a milisecond and then plays like nothing happened. And this popping occurs a few times per song and is really weird. I've tried...

Is Sound Blaster Audigy enough for Sennheiser HD598's?

Hello, I've got a couple of very noobish questions. One of them is right in the topic, I don't know whether I should change my sound card in case I decide to buy myself these Senn's. How do you know if the sound card is powerful enough? Is it written in some specs or do you have to test it by...

A good sound card for a YouTuber?

Hello I want to upgrade my audio setup. I currently have Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 24-bit! and Philips SHP5401 plugged to it, but I'd love to buy myself Audiotechnica ATH-M50's. Seeing how high quality those headphones are, this audio card won't probably be enough. I'm wondering what...

    Gaming - recording stuff

I've made a similar thread, but circumstances changed a bit and I just want to make sure :)   I want to buy myself a new audio "setup", and by that I mean headphones, microphone and sound card for my PC. I'm mostly playing videogames and recording video with commentary from them. I have...

Headphones and sound card for gaming home PC

Actually I'd pay more for a music card if that would make sense, just not above $50 or $60. Those headphones seem pretty good, thanks for that. I found an auction where it's possible to pick those Samson SR850's with Samson C01 microphone, is it any good?

Headphones and sound card for gaming home PC

Hello. The topic's name spoils pretty much everything. I don't have that much knowledge about sound cards, headphones etc. and reviews stopped being helpful, so I'm asking you. What kind of gaming headphones would you recommend? I listen to music, but my PC is mostly used for video games. I...
