Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Yeah for sure it is not a unit with a feature rich setup. I'm real impressed with the sound and it connects to two devices, which is all I really needed. It is hitting hard enough on drums and the guitars sound all jangly like I like. LCD Soundsystem, the White Stripes, and The Fall sound great...- Khangero

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I've had a few different pieces of Fiio gear over the years and have always enjoyed. I think my heart is telling me that if I'm only buying one set of earphones right now I should get the one that sounds really good, that FW5 looks great, and get a utility set later. I've read some reviews on...- Khangero

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I seem to have lost my XM4s. I have been more interested in watches lately and don't know what the contenders are for IEMs in that zone. I wondered if anyone could give me some recommendations. I was thinking ultimately I want a pair of grab and go IEMs that won't be literally such a big loss...- Khangero

The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote
Yeah, it wasn't the one that came with it, which is evidently more robust than the random one I happened to be using at the time.- Khangero

The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote
It turned out that the random micro-USB cable I was using wasn't doing the job. I switched to another cable and BAM, charged right up.- Khangero

The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote
I received a Fiio X3 on October 27th and I've been enjoying it until now. But for no reason I know of it suddenly won't charge. I plug it in. The light turns green > red > blue and it turns on. Then the light keeps going through that cycle and the device turns on and off on and off. I've tried...- Khangero

FiiO X3 vs X1
I am getting a pair of Blue Microphones Mo-Fi headphones and since they have a built in amplifier, would it make the most sense to just get an X1? Is there a significant difference ($70 worth)? Also since there is an X3 II coming out this isn't the best time to buy an X3. Maybe buy an X1 and if... -

Fiio E17 won't turn on
I didn't leave it plugged in to charge, and just let it sit for a day, and the next evening it turned on. Evidently the moisture inside the unit evaporated.- Khangero

FiiO E7 + powered desktop Speakers?
Sure. Just plug it in via USB, and plug the headphone jack for the speakers into the the Fiio. You may just have to go into control panel > sound and tell Windows which output to use, but it isn't hard to configure.- Khangero

Fiio E17 won't turn on
So I found that someone in my household who shall remain nameless spilled some water near my e17 this morning, and when I came home it was sitting in a small puddle where it had probably been all day. It won't turn on. If I plug it in it shows a red light. I bought it secondhand off ebay. What...- Khangero

Have Fiio e17 - Looking for non-phone portable source to go with
I think that I agree. I would like to run Rockbox. I've perused threads but found conflicting information. Should I be looking for a 7G then? Or is it advisable to get an older one where Rockbox compatibility is better? I have a 32gb 3g touch I could fool with to get used to Rockbox. ...- Khangero

Have Fiio e17 - Looking for non-phone portable source to go with
I've spent about an hour digging around the forums here for an answer to this issue but so far I haven't had any success so I've decided to stop lurking, create an account and post. I have an iPhone 4S with a line out dock (LOD) and a FiiO e17 and I'm enjoying the combination. But I'm...- Khangero
