i tired them both to the earforce dss thing and as long as i plug in the usb power to my labtop to power the dss thing i get no noise( other then a veary litle hiss that i get form the earforce thing) form the xfi or mb to the dss to the Asgard, if i plug the usb power for the earforce dss to my...- tunatime

OK i tired a ear force DDS i had laying around that has optical in and usb for the power so i went form xfi to optical to the dss thing Whit the usb power coming off my pc and it was just as noise as right out the xfi so just for fun i tired powering it by usb form My labtop and it was dead...- tunatime

Yes I tired a new cable and that fixed a lot of the noise as I can leave the cable connected whit the pc off and get no noise but it didn't help any whit having the pc on I even tried using my mob onboard sound and its a little worse then form the xfi changing the pc sound does nothing as it...- tunatime

every time i move my mouse or use my keyboard and i can hear my hdd drive Head's moving i think the amp is just picking it more as when i hook it up to my labtop it makes way less noise. so whats the best way to not hear the pc sounds and noise but still beable to use the amp?- tunatime

What's a good dac to go whit d5000s and a Asgard amp? I'm coming out of my old xfi to the Asgard right now and since I added the amp I pick up so much pc noise that I had to stop uesing the Asgard. new Asgard amp bad?
ok so i just got a new asgard today and it worked fine other then it was picking up a lot of noise so i went to bb and tried geting a new rca cable and it fixed most of teh noise iuses it was having so i turn it off fro a few hours and i just turned it back on and i cant hear any thing out of it...- tunatime

ok so i have the hd 380s for about a week now and i just find them lacking its a hollow type of sound that has no life, they work good for music but for movies they just sound odd and when gaming some stuff sounds good but like movies people voices just sound off and lacking and i just cant get...- tunatime
