I purchased my Sony DEJ50 from one of the shops in singapore brand new......well its not that fantastic sounding when compared to a D515 but its the second most expensive discman that Sony has ever made.....if I am not wrong+

You probably need to give them good partnering equipment to do them justice. Not just the amplifier itself....even the source plays an important role. I did have the W100s before and it has a wonderful midrange. I did a test out of the W100s at one of the second hand dealers using Orelle...

Are there any D66 owners out there that has done a comparison between the Eggo D66 and Sennheiser HD497.... Is it considered an upgrade? or just different sounding.... Thanks

Anyone has any detail specs for this amp. It has a great sounding headphone output. There seems to be a volume level to be reach before making the W100s sing. The soundstage opens up, instruments and voices seems to have more of a separate acoustic space of its own. It sure looks like the...

I seem to have this problem with a sansui AU70 old tube amp.... The hum can only be detected at the headphone out.... I have tried all the methods listed above and even change the whole set of tubes....but its still doesnt help At least Gergor can still contact Sugden......

ATH W100 Sounded great directly from my Sony DJ50..... Though it sure sounds better with an amp

hmm.....interesting..... must have a listen if they are available in Singapore at my trusty dealer wonder how it sounds compared to the W100s.....

I have tried a similar model called the Sony D330(looks similar but was made in 1996).... That was when I was using my Sennheiser 497(which was slightly bright in the top end) and was listening through the lineout.....the top end seems to be a little bright and it may be due to the Senn497...
