Nice report! Glad you're enjoying the P2. Yes, battery life isn't its strong suit. This is acceptable to me though, given the calibre of the DAC and Amp combo. AKM's flagship hi-fi DAC is in this thing, after all.

It was a joke. Apparently not an obvious one. Tyll's a legend but I don't understand where he's coming from with a claim that the AFO is a better headphone. Better value, perhaps. But's it's inferior to the EFO in every respect, to varying degrees.

The interior of Tyll's RV looks very cool, but I'm concerned he's been applying solvents without sufficient ventilation. That's the only explanation I can think of for his comparisons of the EFO and AFO.

That's very good of you. I know you've already tried several tracks, which were very helpful. If you still have the time, my track choice would be High Contrast - Return of Forever. I find the HD600 so good for jazz, which I won't compromise on. But if the 660 can offer improvements elsewhere...

Can a 660 owner comment on sub-bass, or lack thereof? EDM is unsatisfying with the HD600, so this is the improvement many electronica fans are looking for.

An Audeze support rep replied to my email and said they don't have a "production date" yet, but they're hoping it will be mid-November. I haven't followed up to ask what the implications are for actual delivery.
