Over the summer, I found an old KLH Model 20 turntable in the closet of my (extended) family's vacation home. It looked a little dirty, and the needle was broken, but the turntable spun. I took it home, thinking to restore it, and promptly forgot about it. I just rediscovered it this morning...

I've drawn up some power supply boards for the Aikido headphone amp I've been planning/putting off for a year or so. I did this because a) I like the look of PCBs over point-to-point; and b) it'll help me avoid screwing up by, say, crossing wires, or mixing up the AC wires with the DC wires...

I got "Primer" for Christmas, seen it 3 times...starting to understand it. I think it's amazing for the budget they did it on, but every time I watch it I'm left scraching my head. Anybody think they have most of it figured out?

The right bud in my E2C's has just developed this real nasty, rattling, static-y noise. It sounds like either the driver is damaged or is bumping up against something in the enclosure. I think it could be the latter, as I can hold on to the bud and feel it vibrate with the music at high volumes...
