Review of the Audigy2 spotted at digit-life. It seems that the sound quality is a lot better than the Audigy (1). Unfortunately the author doesn't compare it to similar cards such as the Terratec's 6fire or their soon to be released Aureon line.

That response was from the ppl that make the oss drivers (for OSs like freebsd, linux, etc) and therefore, only applies to these. No wonder the response sounded confusing. Terratec's reponse: "You can monitor in real time." So the answer is "yes" if you're using windows.
