i found the hd800 much better than the lcd3, which people say is similar to the lcd x , and the k1000 on par with the hd800, so im going to have to conclude the k1000 is much better than the lcd x aswell. Unless the soundstage of the lcd x is Significantly larger than the claustrophobic LCD3 i...- Richyieee

I have a bass light k1000 and compared to the hd800 sometimes it does feel like treble overload , but for songs where the bassline isnt driving the music does sound fantastic, although i dont think im driving it optimally- Richyieee

i can see why people would prefer the smooth fuller sound, the k1000 is very very trebly in comparison (although it may be because mine arent driven properly)- Richyieee

thinking of getting the accuphase e-360 integrated amp (100w per channel), will this be adequate or is it too much power? http://www.accuphase.com/model/e-360.html- Richyieee

When warming up a tube amp do you need to run a signal through it or is it effective just to turn it on.- Richyieee

DNA Stratus 2A3 amplifier - first impressions
the ps1000 needs a few hundred hours to burn in , seriously ! i was skeptical at first but the highs really change , they were kind of screechy and tight at first but now they are really really nice. I listen to chinese pop aswell which tends to have more sibilance than western music and i find...- Richyieee

DNA Stratus 2A3 amplifier - first impressions
yes the ps1000, i like it much better than the lcd3 on the stratus but then i dont really like the lcd3 very much. I am using shuguang treasure 2a3c tubes which are quite a big improvement over stock aswell.- Richyieee

New Audeze LCD3
I suppose piano is debatable since its tone quite soft and does not highlight the LCD3's shortcomings. I used to play in a band and the feel of live drums and guitars is just much better captured on the ps1000- Richyieee

Audeze LCD-3 vs Fostex TH-900?
I havnt heard the th900 but i have owned the LCD3, i'd say its sound relects its comfort: slightly claustraphibic, dull and soft. It just didnt have any magic- Richyieee

New Audeze LCD3
i dont think the ps1000 has nasty treble at all, treble on the t1 sounds sharper and on the lcd3 the treble is just way too soft. I trust my ears rather than look at graphs, the w3000anv has a freq graph that looks like poo but lots of people still seem to love it- Richyieee

New Audeze LCD3
well from that you can either say the ps1000 has hot treble or the lcd3 has recessed treble, for me its the latter, the ps1000 are just much more engaging to me. tbh freq graphs can be misleading i have a t1 and that is much brighter across the board than the ps1000 but it doesnt look that way...- Richyieee
