I read so many unthinkable things around head-fi that now I'm skeptical with pretty much everything people say. Still a good reference place, all the KZ I managed to listen surprised me.

I removed the memory wire from my ZS3, but because the wire connectors sticks too much (far from the ear) the behind the ear design does not the job very well keeping the earpiece in the ear. Carefully with scissors I managed to remove the sheath.

Hey Modders, how did you open the shell of the ATR (or ATE)?

Coil, the ATR sounds pretty good and they seem to stay in my ears (Talking about competition) I see a potential gift for Christmas.

The vsonic vsd3s are at massdrop for 30$. I believe they are better than many budget IEMs available.

I'm pretty sure the Tennmak and the Mee are basically FOTM. Vsonic, on the other hand is established as a good budget choice. I have (had the vsd1s) vsd2 and Vsd3s and they all sound way better (maybe not so much the vsd2) than many of the budget IEMs I tried. Highly recommended.

I tried those. Vots: The nozzle is plastic and the diagphram flexes at the slightest movement. Bassy, unbalanced sound. They died on my colleage in 2months. Avoid

Hey guys, regarding the APEX technology, the pneumatic pressure is only an issue with Balanced armatures right? The bass ports in hybrids or dynamic units should allow some airflow to the unit. I find the idea of reducing pressure quite interesting
