Check under the black molding the amp comes. I had 2 fiio bands, interconnect and usb cable there.

Thanks. Dual lock was my first thought, but I plan to keep the clip attached to the Zip for use with my armband. I may opt to remove the clip and sew Velcro to the armband eventually, though. This is how I'm running it today, lol. Tomorrow may change again.

S4i was my daily iem for a year. Then I learned about better IEMs. Honestly, I prefer Brainwavz R1 (which I bought for my son) to S4i. Only thing lacking in R1 that annoyed me was the recessed mids, but that's compared to SE215 which has great mids for the price.

They don't look like Shure. All Shures I've had are fairly smooth/non-porous on the back of them, those look porous.

SE315 is a single BA, which I've yet to read a positive review of given the price. It also won't have satisfying bass.

I'm keeping close eye on this, too. I've got a very particular set of requirements, not met by any other DAP I've seen yet. X3 looks to fit all my needs.

I agree, and would do as such were I single. However, $400+ on new earphones would land me on the couch for quite a while, whereas the relatively cheaper piecemeal purchases I mentioned should raise little suspicion. Bigger purchases must wait for Christmas or anniversary. ;)
