I have the lovely Mytek Brooklyn on my desk, Roon with tons of flac/dsd plus Tidal. Considering getting the Erco + Hypsos Cans: DCA Aeon 2 closed Hifiman HE1000V2 Using dual outputs, The Brooklyn drives the Aeons great but I feel there’s more to be delivered from the HE1000’s Thoughts?

Up for your consideration is the venerable McIntosh MHA-150. DSD 256 Drives bookshelf speakers with aplomb as well as just about any headphone I've tried. Mint condition, cared for unit.

That quite possibly is the biggest reason to love music.... Each persons own interpretation of the lyrics {message?} can make it seem that the song was made to directly speak to ones self.

I dont see why it wouldn't work. Should plug directly into the back of the corresponding binding post on the amp. Make sure you don't get the positives and negatives mixed up (it wont damage anything but will be out of phase and bass will sound off). On mine, the banana plugs were too small to...

I have not used AK devices but I have used the Chord Mojo as DAC. TBH, there was very very little to choose between the two in terms of Dac.

Trevor at Norne Audio makes an adapter. XLR at one end and banana plugs on the other.

Indeed. I completely agree with your description of the differences between outputs. I use the Norne Draug 2 cable with speaker tap adapter. Really happy with the combination. At some point i’ll spend the $$ and get a Holo Spring Dac but right now, i’m Quite content.
