hmm well i have a SVS PB12 nsd subwoofer in my apt, the bass so strong that it actually moves my couch!! lol as for the headphones, i have the m50 and it does not have head shaking bass!! and i have a denon d2000 amped with fiio e11 now that has Bass!!

Hi everyone, I am looking for a portable headphone amp to power my denon d2k, I have a Fiio E11 AMP right now to listen to  from my iphone and now i am looking to buy something to listen from my laptop, i will like to keep the price around $70 and lower, Thanks   btw i love Bass!!!

just buy the D2000 with a good amp (i have a Fiio E11) and you got a great sounding headphone, trust me i was in the same boat as you, but considering the price difference, it wasnt worth it! yeah the D5000 is slightly better but not worth almost twice the price, the D2000 are really, really...

i did the same thing, call j&r and tell them that you are a member of headfi, and they will give you the headphone for $215 (shipping included) and get the Fiio e11, which is $65 with the extra battery pack and for $280 you have a great set up!! good luck!!
