Closed back grado's
It does need a bit of tweaking, I agree. I don't think that we should rule it out though. I think it has some potential. Duct tape doesn't have the best musical qualities either Remember this is a quick test. It takes maybe 5 minutes to do- 768 mph

Please excuse the colorful duct tape, I did it in a hurry It is not clear but there is 4 holes, but it doesn't need them. I might try it with dynamat tonight.- 768 mph

Closed back grado's
I am not really worried about keeping it open, I have tried the cushion mod and it does not seem as effective. The tape on the back acts like a dampener and it doesn't sound like ****- 768 mph

Closed back grado's
I know that sealing grado's sounds stupid, however I think that there may be something there. If you don't believe me take a piece of duct tape and put it over the back of your headphone. It increases bass, and increases clarity- 768 mph

Best headphones for 150$ (200$ tops)
I was kind of waining against the m50s. I listen to almost all forms of rock, some classical, and most electronic. I dont really want big bass, but I want to buy somthing other than Grados. I will only be wearing them around the house, showing off at school for a few weeks, and maybe in the car...- 768 mph
