Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
I see, you have to look for yourself and try to hear without bias. Right now I'm trying to figure out if there is any difference between the native content and upsampling to DSD256 48K via HQPlayer. In any case, I hate to say it but the scene is at times ridiculous because of the hype or some...- econsumer666

Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
I didn't notice all that much difference in the treble but maybe I'm too old already :-D:-D Although I think the Stealth is generally regarded as brighter. The bass might be a bit more resolving but we're really talking like 5% difference between these two cans. The build quality is very nice on...- econsumer666

Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
I actually found the cables on the HE1000 Stealth very good. They are light, have no memory effect and the 3.5mm plugs are rather small and also shorter than a regular 3.5mm plug (which actually still somehow fits in, I found it confusing, I thought the length of a 3.5mm is a standard). So the...- econsumer666

HIFIMAN HE1000 STEALTH Impressions sharing
After trying around a bunch I've found this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nny0CUq41gV2wF_OCn6iKMrER0qg_EHh/view The result is like this: I think it sounds amazing! For now it's my favourite. P.S. To be honest I'm also starting to like it without any EQ at all, it just sounds so pristine...- econsumer666

Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
Right now it's one of those rare moments when I have two great cans at the same time: Arya Stealth and HE1000 Stealth. To be honest I'm struggling to hear if they actually differ at all. To me they sound pretty much the same. In any case, if someone is considering what to buy, I'd say you can...- econsumer666

Actually I just discovered that I can input these params directly. The best I can do, it actually won't let me do a very small bell. P.S. Doing this on my HE1000 Stealth, I'm quite happy I have to say, the sound is so transparent, extremely comfortable too.- econsumer666

True, I misread that! Yeah very interesting, thanks mate! As far as the sound goes, I remain with my initial estimation: upper harmonics etc. It sounds more audeze like, kinda like it, I think it's somewhat more natural this way. Well that's interesting that one can play around like that, you...- econsumer666

More or less like this you mean? With this setting I'm hearing the voices somewhat more full, if I go back to stock tuning they sound as more pure but yeah I understand what's happening now, I think Hifiman deliberately kills some upper harmonics, I can understand why some people might prefer...- econsumer666

So in theory, it should not affect male voices at all as their fundamental frequency reaches to about 900Hz as far as I understand. Nevertheless, what's the easiest way to try out an EQ setting (and which one to try and treat this dip) on a mac? :-D- econsumer666

I'm very confused, judging by this graph HE1000 Stealth has more recessed mids than Arya Stealth, yet somehow people are writing here that it has more vocal presence and less of the recessed mids? Could someone please enlighten me how this correlates with this measurements graph :-D- econsumer666

How is these headphones compare to Meze 109 Pro? Especially in terms of thick and lush vocals and instrument timbre naturalness.- econsumer666

Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
I'm currently listening to Arya Stealth and one thing that I'm finding kinda weird is that I hear the center (singers) above my eyes if that makes sense? Is that normal? I'd like them to be lower LOL- econsumer666

Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
So now I found a review where the soundstage of He1000 Stealth is described as "mediocre". LOL? I thought it's one of the best https://www.techpowerup.com/review/hifiman-he1000-stealth-open-back-headphones/4.html- econsumer666

I listen to pretty much everything, opera too :-D also some gaming, except for - don't ask me how it's called, probably metal - where they shout at me all the time like crazy :-D So yeah, it better be an allrounder.- econsumer666

Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
Actually stumbled upon DCA Ether 2 which seems to be available second hand for the same price as a new HE1000 Stealth. Gotta read on this one, seems very lightweight but I do not anything about DCA at all.- econsumer666

Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
I see, well I don't think I'm getting the original V2 by any means, it's really between V2 Stealth and Arya Stealth when it comes to Hifiman. Interesting, looks like I'll eventually have to get them. Hifiman HE1000 Stealth vs Arya Stealth
I'm trying to make up my mind with what to replace my Sennheiser 660S2 as I find them to be fine but extremely unspectacular. Comfort is very important and I also have a good cable for the Hifiman which I bought on a whim some years ago so I'm deciding between these two models, the HE1000...- econsumer666
