So after reading the Q701 thread i understood that it is quite shrill as well so i guess that's off the table. How about the DT 990?

AKG k550 VS Akg q701 vs DT990 sound signature

hmm ty for the post, but i'm a bit confused "treble sometimes might be a bit harsh." didn't say if it applies to the q701 also, it just said better in every way. I'm assuming there's no problem on it?

AKG k550 VS Akg q701 vs DT990 sound signature

Hello guys, i have a quick question, how would you compare the sound sig of the q701 with the K550? I have the K550, but i don't really like it's sound sig so i was wondering how it compares to the q701.   EDIT: so after reading the Q701 thread i understood that it is quite shrill as well so...

Any recommendations for no-sibilance open headphones?

Thanks! I have pretty good recordings, almost always i listen to FLAC's, but for example i hear a bit of sibilance on the Grado SR80i, but the AKG K550 hurt my ears at the same song/model. Which is why i was asking for something comfortable and non-fatiguing. Are the Q701 any good?

Any recommendations for no-sibilance open headphones?

Hello guys, i want to buy a pair of headphones, but i want an open pair with no sibilance, mostly because i'm looking for something comfortable that i can wear for hours without fatigue. Can you guys give me some recommendations? My budget is around 200 euro=200$

    Cheap headphones with good soundstage

Quote: Well i need something for soundstage because i already have a pair of closed headphones (with no soundstage) when i need isolation and a Grado SR60i for some rock. But they all suck for gaming. Which is why i need something for soundstage. Small speakers wouldn't be better because...

    Cheap headphones with good soundstage

Hello guys!   I am looking for some headphones with a good soundstage and rather cheap. I live in Europe so the AD700 isn't an option (because it socts about 200$ or more) and the Senn HD558 didn't really do it for me. Any suggestions?

Do Grados Look Ugly? Or Do They Look Cool?

In my opinion, something that looks really presentable are the Sennheiser Momentum. They look REALLY good IRL. All that metal an real leather are quite nice.   Those Shure 440 really looks so similar to beats! I never noticed!   But too much off-topic, I'll shut up now.

Do Grados Look Ugly? Or Do They Look Cool?

Well i really like the how the Grado's look. It's kind of retro. Like a vintage car. But new.   I honestly don't understand what people see in the Beats (who are said to be good looking headphones). To me they look like the most generic looking plastic headphones.

Headphones with "n" shaped response curve with good soundstage

Hmm that Sony CD900ST looks nice, how's the soundstage?   And about the fostex, yeah i was considering buying those, but when the price is 200$ in EU I'm not so sure it's a good decision to buy them.

Headphones with "n" shaped response curve with good soundstage

Quote: Well i think that Q701 has better bass than the other models. Where did you find the Q701 cheaper in Europe? I have searched for it but only found it to be more expensive not cheaper...

Headphones with "n" shaped response curve with good soundstage

Thank you very much for your responses guys!   If there aren't any more suggestions I think that I'm going to get K701 if i want an open pair or SRH940 if i want a closed one.   EDIT: is the Sennheiser HD 600 any good?
