    Feedback error Help

Hello. I similarly left feedback for MacedonianHero but forgot to select positive and left the feedback at neutral. Is there any way to correct this? Thanks.

    Legit Sennheiser IE8s?

Quote: Yeah, really bad news and really surprising than an AD is associated with fake goods. I wonder if people are returning fakes after buying new ones and they're just being recycled by Sennheiser? They certainly can look real with only a quick glance, but it seems unlikely that they'd...

    Legit Sennheiser IE8s?

Quote: Just got mine refurbished in from Dakmart. They are in the bag as described by Wylm5 and come with everything in the retail version except the ridiculous box. Mine look and sound exactly like a non-burned in pair of Sennheiser IE8s: red chip in right earpiece, Y-divider, and plug...

    Legit Sennheiser IE8s?

Thanks Wylm for the great pics - that was your first post on Head-Fi? That's awesome.   I never would have suspected that with refurb IE8s full packaging might be bad but a plastic plastic bag is good. Quote:

    Legit Sennheiser IE8s?

I have a set of IE8 refurbs coming from Dakmart that should arrive Monday or Tuesday. I'm replacing a set of IE8s that I lost 2 weeks ago, so I have all the packaging from the real set that I can use to compare to Dakmart's. I'll post my comparison when I get a chance. I remember really enjoying...

    Upgrade from Denon C700s? Suggestions?

I've been using Denon C700s for a year or so and really like them. I've had to repair the plug 3 times and the driver housing once on each side. They still work fine but are starting to look a bit rough. I'm starting to look for replacements for them and would like some suggestions. Some points...

Is there a magic price point you break before you get addicted to hi-fi?

$50 - PX100 were my gateway drug. I'm sure many people started as low as $20 with the KSC75.

    Grados plastic!!!?!!

What's wrong with plastic? AFAIK the HD650 and K701 are mostly plastic as well and they don't sound too shabby. If you really want to get picky the drivers of the 325i are still housed in plastic and only the back of the cups are metal.

Advice needed: Full size headphones with Yuin PK1 sound signature

This thread describes the MS Pro as a less aggressive and airier sounding RS-1. But, I haven't heard either enough to say anything besides that. edit: This is insane that you'd have to go as high as RS1/MSPro to get similar satisfaction as the PK1s... maybe you could just settle on the yuins?

    Headphone Sightings 2

Nice weather in downtown Toronto has produced a few interesting sightings: AKG K171 and K271 (!!! hard to miss... awesome), some Grados, Shure E500 (or e530...) and my own MS-1s.

    Grado SR-80 vs. Alessandro MS1

There's plenty of info on the internets about these phones. I find bowls comfy enough for an hour tops but comfy pads and HD-414 pads I can wear for several hours - they are comfortable enough, especially if you aren't afraid to bend the headband to fit your noggin. The MS-1s do not have bowls...

Just bought a pair of SR80s... some questions for Grado owners.

414 pads are easily dyed black with any fabric dye - just use really hot water 1L at most, ample amounts of dye (1/2 a pack should do) and squish them around periodically to make sure they're saturated. Then rinse really, really well with cold water and let them dry. I got my pads from some ebay...

IEM's same size as CX300 but better...

what about ebay.co.uk? There's a set of C551s in the UK (no border fees or VAT?) here. The total price is still a bit high at close to $100 USD, but that's a lot better than $140. edit: This is still only one option - there's probably other phones out there that would work.

Denon C551 fits that bill rather nicely. Haven't heard them myself, but I have the C700s and they're very, very good. The C700s would be my first recommendation but you wanted small and discreet.

    Poll: Best upgrade from CX300?

I never got on the SF5 bandwagon. I had a set of SF3 and I hated everything about them - it pretty well turned me off UE. I think the C700 is a remarkable little set of phones with a good DAP (I liked them with the Sony NWZ series and Ipod classic). I found them too tinny and bright out of a...
