  You're talking about the stock cables' plugs, right? I don't see how they're 3mm thick. Here's what I'm seeing:     And here's a 3.5mm plug to show the scale is accurate:     No matter how I look at it, it looks closer to 2.5mm.

I'm only estimating it on a millimeter scale ruler.

My stock black cable is already going out after a few months . Bending the cable at the 3.5mm plug end in the wrong way even slightly cuts out audio to the right earpiece. Could I get a replacement cable under warranty?

Are these really similar/better than the Triple.fi 10? I sold my TF10 a while back, a decision I regret because I miss them very much. They were so fun to listen to, and I'm looking for a similar sound signature.

The Sennheiser HD 700 is actually my favorite looking headphones. But it's $1000 and apparently isn't as good as the $400 HE-400 that I have. IF it sounded like $1000, I would have bought it.

Does the printed text rub off really easy for anyone else? I first noticed the "R" indicator was missing a chunk so I rubbed off both it and the "L". I'll probably just remove all the text for a slightly cleaner look. It's a good thing I don't plan to sell them.
