But also the sr225e is very good with different types of Jazz. Jazz funk Jazz fusion & rock and even soul & funk music . For the price these are a go go for anybody starting out.

Well assume you mean cursed like not being around anymore , rather than a bad headphone. If you do like the 660s there are a fair few being sold all over at good prices. Which may go up. Glad iv got mine , I like it. Very good for playing direct from audio players.

I would say for a new version 1. About. £320. Mine were just over £200. But mint second hand.

Just checked on Amazon UK. And the 660s2 still. £499.

Well nice to see this thread still going. I'm still using my Douk little amp for the reason I bought it. Plenty of power to use my sennheiser and grado phones. Still power it from a old Samsung 9v supply. All good. What I wanted it for was so I could use my old spare project debut 2...

Playing Pat metheny acoustic style jazz Lp on my SR325e via project turntable into a cheap class A Douk amp. All good. Just wish pat was playing more and his faster stuff. Lol .

^hi firstly which grado are you wanting a case for . You can pick up for around £10 to fit all the SR range with S cush and L pads. Or the much larger grado for the GS , and PS range with G pads. But yes you can also buy a cheaper one which will work ok . Mine was only about £15...

Well playing a few jazzy albums tonight with my new to me , hardly used Sr325e via the cheap Douk amp, loads of power spare. Mainly use this Douk with my Hd580 , hd600, all good. Am pretty impressed by these 325e . Even if I already have a fair few other grado.

One hour ago my new to me mint second hand Grado Sr325e playing jazz dance fusion from podcasts via Fiio M7 . And now playing Focal Elegia via Fiio M7 , Al Di Meola live album.

Don't know if any good but a few people are selling the 4mm cable that sennheiser gave away with the hd660s headphone. Might be useful.

Hi. Surely the sizes are the same on both 660s. ? Assume you have had a good luck at both sets of pads , or are the version 1. Worn down a bit . Maybe stick something inside the headphones, not on the pads , and leave them overnight to stretch a bit. This should free them a bit ...

Well just added another grado to my collection . Already have the sr325i gold . But bought a mint hardly used sr325e today , And without comparing them yet, these sound very good . And that's only playing direct ftom s fiio M7 audio player. Playing some jazzy podcasts from Podomatic in...
