Hi, I am looking to buy a pair of headphones to use while on my laptop at home or at my school's library.  I will use these headphones for movies, tv shows, and occasionally music (mostly hip-hop with the occasional piano/soundtrack).  The budget I'm thinking will be in the $60-80 area...

Any news on when the in-ear version of the Diamond Tears will release?  The on-ears are said to be releasing on Sept. 30th on Amazon, but I don't think they look good at all. Cannot find any info on these..

  I've had the Monster Turbine Pearls for sometime now and, as you can see from the picture, some of the paint has chipped off and the copper parts have turned green. Also, I'm sure the wires are eventually going to yellow.  Does anyone know of a way to fix this or prevent this from happening...

What alternative pair of headphone would you, drawing from your own listening experiences, say the Monster Vektr is comparable to?  I do like the design of them and (sort of) the diamond tears.  

Have you considered getting headphones?  If I recall correctly, IEMs don't deliver the same bass "feel" as a headphone does.  Maybe that's what you're really looking for?  

The Klipsch S4i can be bought for 35$ used on Amazon.  It's certainly worth, at least, consideration!

Thank you to the both of you. I checked out some photos and they seem like a match.  Perhaps, I will see if any Comply tips work with them.  Although, these IEMs do fit a bit awkward.

Well, I went and bought the Comply S-400 and I regretted it immediately.  Despite being stated as compatible with the Monster Turbine Series, the tip fell off so easily on both my MTPC and MT.  The T-400 I used before stayed on perfectly.  The S-400 falls off so much and doesn't feel like it...
