Beyerdynamic has replied my email saying that these are a China market special edition. The reason they gave for mine having the Pro's headband is the climate of south China. The Premiums leather headband tends to get sticky after 2 years due to the hot and humid climate.

Ok Thanks for the clarification.   It seems as though my headband is from the Pro but the Ear Cups look like those on the Premium.    

  Hey Guys,   I bought these Beyerdynamic Dt880 recently and I only realized that they are different to the ones on Beyerdynamic website.    Are these an older model?
