Review by 'hanglee65' on item 'AKG Q350 In Ear Headphones, Quincy Jones Signature Line'

these are ok, i just bought them. They have the same dynamic musical presence as their on-ear, the Q-460. Construction is all plastic, but the cable seems flimsy. same as the Q-460s. I guess these are the compromises concerning the lower lines of the q-series.

New supraaural headphones from Thinksound: On1.

I have a pair already, yes. They are gorgeous and for less than a week of breaking them down, they are incredibly comfortable and musical . The bass goes down really low like a subwoofer and the preservation of a neutral midrange and super transient top end makes these headphones supremo.

    Arcam rPAC Review

I love this DAC. It offers the widest soundstage, awesome highs and low. The rPAc doesn't tale up any desk space either.

Grado SR80i... Would it be a significant downgrade?

I prefer the original series, neutral with great bass, each with a higher level of musical enhancements. The SR80i are far too glaring to my ears.

Grado igi's must cause brain damage...

I've been a fan of grado headphones for a long time, but was apprehensive of purchasing these iGIs. I have a disability that affects my fongers and hands, that so many of the IEMs I bought don't last long. Enter the iGIs. I've had these for over 4 months, been i the washer and dryer once, and...

    Grado Sr80i vs. 125i

I prefer the original SR-80 over the i, the former is more neutral sounding. As for the SR-125i, they're big with a heavy cord, but the musical qualities are different than both 80s. There's more deep bass and warmth, but the midrange is fully intact. Pus, I think the original SR-80s beats any...

    FiiO E7 Review.

My E7 just arrived yesterday and immediately noticed i was missing some fine details in most of the music before using this wonderful DAC/headphone amp.   The bas becomes more defined with added punch, and the highs are extended.   The second headphone output could be used to connect a pair...

    Grado SR-200 Review

Grado igi's must cause brain damage...

I've been listening to a pair of igis for over 3 months, they sound great for the money. A warm-sounding mid is their trademark without the agressive  bass or treble.  Plus you get to send them back to brooklyn ny to have them fix anytime they broke.    Great service, great sound.

    Audioengine N22

The N22 is an affordable, great-sounding amp that works well with a pair of venerable ads L-300. an outstanding combo. I heard it can even drive some high-end Totem Acoustics. For now I'm waiting for reviews on the D1 24-bit dac/headphone amp. Has anybody read anything about this gem?

    Grado IGI review

A change of view. The igis need a long break-in period for the mono midrange to become very good stereo. Once done, I really like the lows and the fluid midrange. Highs are there, but not detail enough where you can distinguish the various cymbals Peart plays.

    Grado IGI review

I bought a pair of iGIs because of the great customer service Grado provides. These are a different monster, coming in 4 different classes of isolation sleeves. I have tried the small canal type that bodes well in my ears. The sound is very different. I noticed a flat mono midrange in these...

    Thinksound ts01 (Thunder) Review

Thinksound makes some of the most gorgeous aesthetically IEMs around and the musical qualities of every one off them are fine. The ts01s are no exception. Sure they have a bass-.concentrated sound, but they are made for the modern young users, who enjoys bassy music. The treble is an issue, but...

    Skullcandy Titan Initial Impressions

My impressions on Titans are very good. They come in multiple colors, have a metallic finish, better sounding  and more dynamic than the supplied apple earphones. The price is about the same. You could buy a pair for $34.99 USD at any Newbury Comics stores in the Boston area. When compared to...

    A5+ or Comparable Amp/Passive Setup

I got the Audioengine N22 integrated desktop amp with some classic ads L-300 speakers, a terrific combo without the DSP or pther additives. Just pure neutral music and voice coming out of this system. I am using this combo for a year.

    Jay's A-Jays Four

The silicone sleeves are stiff when they arrive and require a break-in period of more than 1 week. I wore mine everyday during the first weel for about 3 hours average,

Review by 'hanglee65' on item 'Grado SR225i Headphones'

I got to hand it to Grado, The SR-225s are the best, the experience worth more than the $200.00 retail price. As you move up the Grado chain of headphones, one thing is familiar; the company lowers the overall bass response, giving you a more open vocal performance, and detailed bass/viola/cello...
