JH Audio - Sharona - Discussion and Impressions Thread
Hi guys, I have an old pair of Westone ES5 IEMs. I like the midrange very much. Anyone know whether the Sharona has the same midrange or better?- Jedaite

Pico slim very old, unfixed issue is driving me crazy,
Thank you so much bro, I did that and for now there are no more issues. I twisted my headphone jack into the amp to see if the problem is still there. Connection held strong. Thank you very much!- Jedaite

Pico slim very old, unfixed issue is driving me crazy,
Hello everyone, I've posted this a long time ago, yet no fix has been issued and I also got no reply from @justin w. Let's start: When I plug in my earphones into the 3.5mm jack of the Pico Slim I hear some static noise. That may not be a big problem, but the following is: Every time I plug...- Jedaite

I need my broken Linum cable fixed,
I don't know what happened, but I believe the cable could be made to last more. The black rubber coat that surrounds the 3.5mm jack will eventually come unglued and you'll have to glue it yourself. That's not good. I did have and still have my Westone Epic cable which is going strong after 5... -
I need my broken Linum cable fixed,
Thanks for confirming my assumption that the cables are indeed poorly manufactured. This is so disappointing. I'll continue to look for a company or service within the EU that may be able to fix my Linum. -
I need my broken Linum cable fixed,
Thanks, but I already had mine replaced 3 times. That's how disappointing the build quality is. I still have my Westone Epic cable since 5 and a half years ago and it only went bad on the right side a week ago. It still works, but not always. That cable went through so much abuse you wouldn't... -
I need my broken Linum cable fixed,
Hi everyone, My Linum BAX cable broke and the warranty's out. In fact, the build quality, especially how the cable is glued onto the jack is just bad and after a few accidental tugs, it will eventually end in no/or intermittent sound on either the left or right side. This is such a shame, since...- Jedaite

Astell&Kern AK380
A lot of BS goes into them, honestly. AK loves milking the audiophile market as much as possible. What improvements could the SS build bring to warrant a $1500 increase in price is beyond me or any sane person as well. $3500 is already an insane amount of money for a music player, let alone $5K...- Jedaite

Astell&Kern AK380
Hey guys, can anyone from Europe chime in? I'd like to know where you'd buy an AK380 copper from and for what price? I mean, how much would it cost to get one (new) from the EU? If others got one already (new and second hand), I'd love to know where you got it from and for how much.- Jedaite

Astell&Kern AK380
Thank you and everyone else that chimed in (don't know how this multi-quote works and I'm trying not to clog the screen too much). Definitely the AK380 is the best, but it's too expensive... I'd need to try it out first before deciding to commit. I was actually curious of the Onkyo...- Jedaite

Astell&Kern AK380
Thank you and raypin for your help. I'm actually thinking about getting a new player next year, so I'm trying to see if there's something better than the Pico Slim and iPod combo that I currently use with my Westone ES5 IEMs. If you've used this combo before, what's your take on its SQ compared...- Jedaite

Can anyone compare the Onkyo DP-X1 to AK380? I'd love to hear what someone who used both of them has to say about the sound quality.- Jedaite

Yeah that's correct unfortunately as I experienced it myself. That's so bad... I've filed a complaint with the CSSF and my case is ongoing. Hope it ends well.- Jedaite

Westone ES60 unboxing and first impressions
I always loved the 2-pin connectors, much more reliable in my experience and believe me.. one of the pins even twisted to an almost 90 degree angle and I was still able to straighten it and use it as if nothing happened. These MMCX connectors look bad and seem unreliable as well.- Jedaite

Review: Estron Linum BaX --- New IEM Cable for a New Age
Just got my Linum Bax replacement. I wish they were a bit sturdier.. Just want to say that I was never a believer that cables can improve sound quality, but I can hear a clear difference between the Linum and my Westone stock cable. Bass is tighter and clarity is also improved. Sound is...- Jedaite

PayPal woes - Alternatives (Google Wallet, etc)??
It's too late, but if you guys have issues with PayPal and they don't want to help you, file a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman. If OP would've known about this, she would've gotten her money back. http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/- Jedaite
