High End closed Headphones for me
Yeah i heard of the TH900 as well. But i don't know if they are worth the money compared to the D7000 for my needs. I guess i should beginn with a comparison of this two but it's hard to find a store which have both models available for testing in my country. Thanks for the advice.- WeggliNet

High End closed Headphones for me
Hi, i own a pair of LCD-2 rev.2 for over 1 year now and i like them very much except for the weight. They start give me headaches because of the weight if i wear them for more than 3-4 hours. Plus i work now in a different environment that is not that quiet as before so i would prefer...- WeggliNet

**best source for my setup??**
There should be no difference. File formates make a difference but FLAC files or other lossless audio would sound as good as played from a cd. But that has nothing to do with the connection.- WeggliNet

Crappy headphones for 20$ wouldn't sound better with a good receiver than they do on an ipod. The better the headphones the more you notice a difference. I don't think it would be worse than on your Klipsch, get an optical cable and try it out.- WeggliNet

How do I snag music from DVDs?
You can use some software like DVD Audio Extractor. Some of them can create FLAC files in 16bit, 600+ kBit/s depending on source codec (DTS avg. 1500 kBit/s).- WeggliNet

Depends on your model. My headphones sound definitely different and better when i plug them into my av receiver instead of a mediocre PC surround systems headphone output.- WeggliNet

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Quote: No of course not. I don't know what scoopbb is working but i can't walk around with some HD800s and an amp at work. But they are closed, easy to power, smaller and portable if your need to be mobile. High end headphones are not made for that imo.- WeggliNet

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Quote: If you like the 650s sound and want to upgrade then try an LCD-2. The HD800 don't sound like an 650 and if you like pop music or something else than classic or instrumental go with an LCD-2 or HE-500. Of course they are open... so maybe you should try the Monter Beats Pro... not bad...- WeggliNet

Got Money - Need Headphone
Thaks for the suggestions so far. Yeah it's hard to describe what i don't like about the HD650... i felt they could be clearer. I like to listen to movie soundtracks (instumental) so i want headphones that sound very clear on orchestral instuments mainly but also on vocals. The bass should...- WeggliNet

Got Money - Need Headphone
Hi, my first post already starts with a question. I have a Burson HA-160DS currently running a Sennheiser HD 650. I listen to the HD 650 for many years now and i'm pretty happy with it but... i think it's time to upgrade a little bit. So i got some money and now i am looking for another...- WeggliNet
