In the price range, I will recommend the Italian northstar design excelsio, which is known for its top-class transparent and liquidity. Also equipped with ess9018 dac chip with DSD decoding function.

I will give a vote on ------ZANA DEUX 2A3. It is one of the excellent combos for HE-6

I must say I will strongly agree with you David, especially toward the HD800, phonitor and the AKGs.   You have done a significantly valuable work.

I own the K702 and K702 65th, but have no HE400. I found the 65th is of relatively close sound stage and less transparancy than the normal edition, but of easier-to-drive characristic and larger dynamic range, which I believe is a "modern" style.      After all, the 65th is double the price...

Well, I just wanna say that  I will recommond the K702 normal edition when compared with the 65th edition

AS an AKG big fan, I recommend the Hifiman HE400, just because the K702 65th is of to much "modern entertaining style" instead of a "classical neutrality".
