I have LGV30 and like to sometimes use LDAC BT using FIIO BTR5. Question - Do I need to purchase the additional MQA component to benefit improved sound through the BTR5 or can LG already handle this even when outputting via BT ?

than you haven’t heard anything of what MQA can fully do. I think 96/24 is limit for non MQA certified gear. My LG v30 unfolds MQA to 384k depending on original recording of course. I was hoping @FiiO would get inclusion of full MQA unfolding support for BTR5.
