Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Did the coaster go out of style there by chance? Just saw it's not on the website anymore... Was a whimsical little thing.

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

That's a sick pen name. Glad to hear the Corpus shop is nearly ready. Any chance you guys are looking for Schiit Staff for it? The chaos sounds fun and right up the alley of a lot of people on Head-fi.

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Finally read through the several hundred thousand page book. I must say, that this is a commendable document and I adore your company and your ideals.

    Grado e Series

I find it refreshing how quickly they're accelerating their R&D over there in Grado. Makes me want to try some of their new E series. Just waiting on Headroom to get some. Been out of the game for awhile, is the 4yourears site Grado sales direct?

    Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones

I must say I greatly admire everyone's efforts to convert people.  It's always been like pulling teeth for me so I gave up awhile ago.

    Sansa Fuze (4GB) - $22.99 Refurbished

Not to mention the fact you can add in a microSDHC card to increase the storage capacity (though at the expense of a slower load up each time you change out the music).   Decent player for the price.  I'd pick up another had I not already bought two from Woot myself.

Skullcandy Smokin' Buds initial impressions (yes I'm serious)

I picked up these with the mic attachment hoping to use them as a cheap headset (the purple/yellow and black/red colors appear to be the ones with in line microphones). Unlike the pictures, mine came with no in line volume control. It's not a big deal really as I suspect it would only color the...

My UM2s got EATEN... A good alternative?

Have you tried contacting Westone for service? If anything they might just be able to repair it for the same cost of a low end IEM. Unless of course you meant literally eaten... which begs for a story.

    Announcing HeadRoom's All-New Website

There seems to be a few broken links when you look for more nested details on the product (review, HR official thoughts, etc.). Also... I know it's been said by a lot of other people but I do kind of miss the cheeky nerd factor of the old site. There were a few random little Easter Eggs...

    Announcing HeadRoom's All-New Website

The new site looks very slick! I will miss the old, low key site though... any chance of having it still up and allowing us an option to use that instead? As for the SC stuff... at the very least you guys are the ones testing them all out and weeding the lower quality ones out. I do not...

    Looking for a quality headphone

I'm with Mercuttio on saving up a bit more to have a long term investment on your gear. Overall I think it saves you a lot more money in the long run. Personally I'd recommend the Sennheiser HD25 as that's what I use pretty much everywhere. They have an excellent punch to them, an okay...

Zune Insider Microsoft must hate making money... but I really don't mind right now.

    New Zune Games

Supposedly it adds more stability as some people with the 3.0 firmware had resets. All I know is I have a 2 year old 1G Zune that now plays a strangely addicting space game... I don't get Microsoft's profit strategy from this device anymore... yet for now it's pretty customer friendly.

    2gb clip on woot today

If anyone's terribly sad about missing this deal, according to a supposed Black Friday ad for Best Buy they'll sell the 4GB for around the same price per GB. Found the link on Engadget btw.

    2gb clip on woot today

Sandisk's been getting a reputation for excellent sound quality lately. This is a good deal if you want a few beat-up player(s) (shipping is always $5 regardless of quantity) that sound great. Plus they seem to be actively listening on their own forums, and added FLAC support (in addition to...

    something more about grado bowls

Well, if you enjoy the sound that occurs when you squish the pads in, you may as well try flat pads. I personally alternate between bowls and flats depending on music genre and my mood at the time. Bowls give me more separation and "air," whereas flats do have a nicer bass kick to them and...
