Buyer's Remorse: Headphones and earphones you bought on impulse and regretted.

Ahh, a while back i was contemplated between a pair or e2c's and er6i's. In the end I picked up a pair of e2c's and boy was I not happy. To me, they sounded terrible, even with a decent seal. I ended up selling them. Just recently I've purchased a pair of er6i's and boy, I wish I would've bought...

I'm not sure, maybe they're just another authorized reseller of etymotic phones. But oOoOoOo, the picture given for the er4p's are different colours than the classic red/blue ones, interesting...

The absolute best No.1 sounding MP3 flash player?

Another vote for the shuffle, although iAudio has a good reputation for having great SQ too, I've never heard one.

    obvious change in my MS-1s.

YEAH!!! I had the same experience with my sr60's. The high's were very screechy and unbearable but even after a couple hours of play, it ceased and the high's were great. The bass filled out too. Good to hear your enjoying you ms1's.

    grado sr60's - dissapointed

Yep, just give them time. Happened with me and now I can't go back to my ex71's because they sound so muddy. I thought the bass on the ex71's were great but when I heard the sr60's tight, controlled bass and detail.... wow, they blew the sony's out of the water. Your ears just have to get used...

Need suggestions for best bang for my buck?

How bout some alessandro ms1's? - *Alessandros=made by grado* They can be had for $100usd with shipping included I think. I've heard its a great bang-for-buck headphone. I know I was torn between ms1's and sr60's when wanting to purchase, but went with the sr60's. From what I've been hearing...

I just bought some SR-60's and KSC-75's. I want more.

How bout another grado since you love your sr60's so much. The sr225's are a vast improvement on all aspects the sr60's have and can be had for $200usd. Too bad you missed the boat on the hf-1's. I've heard its been an awesome deal and headphone all around this forum.

    1GB Flash-based players

Another vote for a cowon iaudio player. Theres g3, u2 and u3's coming out soon. It should be good. Theres also iriver, u10, t10 and t30. I'd go for iaudio though due to their good filmware updates opposed to iriver's once in a blue moon new filmware.

    X5 to Ipod 5G?

I found the video quality of the ipod 5g kicked the **** out of the x5's. The x5 was a little chopping, barley noticable yet there also the screen's resolution isn't something to cheer about. I was very impressed seeing video's played on the 5g, seeing how awesome the quality was.

Which cans for best portable use WITHOUT AMP???!!! - part 2

I've heard the v6 out of an ipod and thought it sounded fine. I haven't heard the 280's so I can't comment on those. I found the v6 very compact due to its folding ability and the build quality was pretty decent. The pads are also comfy but don't completely go over the ears, like a supraural...

Apple listens to consumers about Nano scratching: Nano now shipping with case??

ROFL, the case is a joke. Its just a reason to not sue apple because by having this *provided case,* its suppose is PROTECTED and if a reason for it breaking or scratching is because you haven't used the provided case. Sad yes, but smart on apples part.

    Help Me Choose Please

Audio Technica a500's? - can be found at audiocubes.com Grado is not what your looking for, you said you wanted headphones to block out external sound, Grado's are open and leak quite a bit.

Good headphones for using with an ipod around the house??

I'm going to recommend the sr60's. I run then unamped off my ipod and IMO sounds great but an amp will improve the sound. Note: the sr60's have a 3.5mm headphone plug.

    HEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another grado sr60 vote here. MS1's would be a great value too and from what I've heard from other headfiers is that its sonically better than the sr60's, I haven't heard the MS1's for myself so I can't comment on which is better. But the value for the MS1's are great.

    Suggestion.

You should take a look at the iaudio x5. That thing is awesome, my friend has it and I've played around with it, its a great hdd player. If your not wanting the x5 I say get the sony nwhd5 walkman. I've heard great things from it and the size looks good too as well as battery life.

Which of these Creative mp3 players?

GO WITH IRIVER. I got an iRiver ifp 795 and its been very reliable and has excellent sound quality. IMO it has everything you could want in a flash player, the battery life is great, 5 band eq and radio. I use it mostly for on-the-go when I'm too lazy to take my ipod.
