It is not a big deal but are all CIEMs warranties like this? Makes me wonder what it can actually cover. I guess it can cover broken shell or something but then again that could be "Damage or breakage due to ordinary wear and tear". I thought the whole point of warranty was for driver failure...

Beach audio, thenerds.net, ceshowroom.com are not on the list of authorized dealers of Sony. Can someone confirm if they do come with warranty? I am sure they are not fake but they could be B-stock or might not come with warranty.   @wsrox Have you received your ex1000 yet?

Are they better for protecting your ears?   I started to hear some tinnitus starting a few weeks ago and i dont even listen to music a lot. (maybe 2-4 hours a day in VERY low volume.) I mainly use canal earphones during transit and some heaphones for indoor use. The Westone 3 that i am using...

Has anyone been using them for like more than 5 years? Only thing that's worrying me is the durability now. Some reported issue with driver sounds scary.

Well, has anything been changed in building process recently? It seems to be a fit issue since their fr graph looks fine. Maybe the length of nozzle has been changed?
