First Impressions of the new Beyerdynamic T70p

I've been listening to my t70p for a couple of days now and all I can say is that for me they are totally addictive, portable with a clip zip+fiio e6, or right now on Xonar Essence card. They beat my previous dt931 by far, and I can't help the felling of missing out when I'm using my sennheiser...

    Recommend me a pair headphones

Quote: There is a thread regarding ad700 and m50: http://www.head-fi.org/t/443501/ath-m50-or-ad700   If you are interested in them, m0ar, you should prob listen to them and decide which one has the sound you like better.

Regarding headphones, you should really listen to them yourself, try them on for comfort, etc. I'm not fond of Sennheisers lower end models, and from what I hear you get a lot for the money with the M50s. I think the clip+ is enough to drive them as well.   For the laptop Fiio is coming out...

Why do you need the dac? As for the amp the clip+ is it quite strong, but maybe a fiio e6 if you need more power.   If you're looking for a portable rig you might want make sure the headphones don't leak too much sound. The hd555 for example is an open phone.

    Amp for T70p - Price = 2-400 USD

Also got a new pair of t70p, and am also looking for a good amp, and possibly dac later on as well. I have a fiio e6 on it's way for a small kit, but I'm thinking of e11 as well so it will be interesting to hear what you have to say.

    BeyerDynamic owners unite...

Just upgraded my old dt931 that I enjoyed for many years but are now falling apart, for a pair of t70p. Had them for a few hours and already love them.

    beyer t70 & t70p NEW!

Just picked up my new t70p. I'm not a bass head and don't have a pair of t5p to compare with, but I'm sitting with a big smile on my face amazed by the sound. I don't find the bass lacking, and they are airy and bright indeed, nice build and so far very comfortable.

Wearing Sennheiser IE8 Upside down = better isolation + fit!

Just got my IE8, and have been trying out different fits, and had to laugh when I found this thread. They actually fit me best when I wear them over-ear, but reverse them. I.e. wire up, but the R in the left ear and vice versa. They stick out a bit but this for me this gave the best sound, lol.
