Are there any all in one systems with a headphone amp and speaker taps under 1000 dollars. I've found one which is the peach tree audi decco 65. However I don't know if it could power my lcd 2.2s.

I just learned that Burson cam out with a cheaper smaller version of he soloist called the soloist SL. Would that be a good amp for my audeze?

I think your taste is on point With mine, however since my budget is far less I think I will go with the V90. Where can I purchase te amp in the u.s?

Would a better DAC make the sound better? How will it make 96/24 better than the one tht. I currently have? I was told tht I didn't need a better DAC because my music was only 96/24

Shoot, I didn't update that, my description is up posed to be under 700 dollars now. Also my DAC doesn't need a upgrade cause my music is only 96/24 not 192/24

I'm trying to stree away from schiit for now, and the vioelectric is way out of my budget

My friends Burson Ha 160 did not have the problem and that is a higher end product than the lyr, also I don't see how every "high end" product will make a driver deform. The lyr and asgard also has a proven background of damaging headphones which is what made my decision to return it final.

Me too, however mine still had the problem. I came to the decision to return it and get a new amp because I don't want to run the risk of getting another defect and such.

I still think that a product that is worth nearly half a grand should not have any issues or controversy about damaging headphones surrounding it. Heck, Even my fiio does not danger or alter the shape of my AKG k702s driver.

When you turn the amp off with the headphones plugged in it makes a popping sound like the driver is blown. Also my AKG is affected like the one shown here http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tCZ-AJQOiDg I did not want to risk any damage so I'm returning it.

The current argument seems to be split, and I am going the safe side and returning it.

Bump, after recently buying the schiit lyr ad returning it for the risk of damaging my audeze, I'm in for a new amp under 700 dollars. Any suggestions? I was looking into te Burson ha 160 btw.

Wow, didn't expect so many answer and controversy lol. I think that I will be heading down solid state territory because the relay is a bit discerning to me. Would spending extra 2 hundred for the Burson ha 160 be worth it? Or what else under 600 should I get?
