California Headphone Company A New Tim Hickman Brand
Quote: Haha, I would be wary about whether it was actually an "accident". It seems to the the preferable option on Kickstarter, so I bet they didn't want a review going out to interrupt their supply of backers. If not, then it's kind of a problem if they can't tell the difference...- Nildes

Quote: I wouldn't say that. Just like with Cherry switches, it just depends on which key weight you go with. I would say there's a slight bump upon actuation, but probably not as pronounced.- Nildes

Haha. That's a very colorful/cheery key set you have there. I didn't know that Topre made a 30g uniform weighted. That sounds pretty awesome, though. Do you think it may be too light, even? Do you mistype more, due to the sensitivity?- Nildes

Quote: Quote: Indeed, there is no "gaming" switch, as much as companies like to market browns and reds as such, and blues to a lesser extent. In general, blues are regarded more as the "best" typing switch, with browns serving that middle ground, between typing and gaming, if...- Nildes

Quote: I'm not sure which one you are looking at, but it was just my opinion that you might want to consider investing less, until you have a solid grasp on what you like. Also, not that I don't like a good Filco myself, you need to consider that there are other companies out there that...- Nildes

You can take a look here to see the results of the testing. You need to scroll down a bit to find the Razer BW entry: http://bit.ly/Mfzsmj Here's one of the sources of results that is linked there: http://bit.ly/PsnA0f I don't think CTRL+ALT+DELETE would have a problem. CTRL and ALT are...- Nildes

Das keyboards are nice, but the glossy finish is a real put-off. Brown and red switches are definitely a bit more suitable for gaming, because they don't have that extra hump that exists on the blue switch...- Nildes

Yes, they are the primary distributor for Swan in the US, with Lockware Systems being secondary. The final price is likely cheaper from The Audio Insider. http://www.swanspeaker.com/dealers/dealers.aspx- Nildes

Computer audio has a lot of noise induced by mouse movement, pictures changing on screen, games, etc.
Have you looked at these? There are many possible solutions that have been listed, but they both talk about a possible ground loop. http://bit.ly/NeBswZ http://bit.ly/LI5YNG Not sure if this might help.. http://bit.ly/3PH8BW- Nildes

Cannot Rip purchased CDs
I don't think there's much value in putting copyright protection on CDs these days.. I mean, if there is included software to rip data from them, I really don't see there being a high organizational consensus that there is heavy importance on the protection of music IP in this form. Artists are...- Nildes

You'll have to give them a try and see if they suit your needs. I think they're pretty decent services. Of course, in the instance of Spotify, you may or may not want to turn off the integration with Facebook. Here's how: http://bit.ly/n44M8b- Nildes

Um..., mouse movement shouldn't be making any noise at all, unless you have a mic picking up the noise from somewhere. I think your issue might be similar to this (scroll all the way down): http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/256807-28-problem-titanium-noise- Nildes

Can you confirm that either drive is actually being recognized? What version of Windows are you running? Have you already tried updating to the latest drivers? You may also try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. I would ask about the condition of the disks, but that doesn't quite sound...- Nildes
