I rescue this thread to highlight that the Cowon J3 is still my one and only portable player after more than 10 years (I've just had to replace the battery one time). It sounds glorious with the Moondrop CHU :ksc75smile: and it can perfectly drive the Audeze LCD-2 :o2smile:

I did not have to use sandpaper to make the BA700 fit at the Cowon J3. There is another simple trick: just twist the battery 90 degrees, as I have shown at the pictures above. It doesn't fit with the terminals facing up, but it fits with the terminals facing to one side. No need for brute force!

Anyone knows where can I find tip replacements for the Zero Audio BX700? I've tried several tips that fit, but the bass is totally lost. They sound like garbage. Perhaps due to the small orifice at the tip end.
