'Use' them all?  I have headphones everywhere and don't use 90% of them. Yes I'm sure I have too many, and too many speakers, amps, etc. It's an illness. 

Man, I haven't seen you in awhile canuck57. Been to busy off headfi getting married and moving. I'm actually pretty close to fergus now though, believe it or not. Might be able to pop by for a little while, though I do admit my gear is not exactly to the extent it once was.

I wouldn't touch the AV series with a 10 foot pole, personally.  Had a couple friends I recommended them to, they had nothing but problems.  They are unfortunately rather cheaply made.

Resistor values check out fine, but I don't have a meter thats capable of checking capacitance.  What I meant was, the voltages are off by about 0.6v or so, but when I tried to check the voltage on the gate of one MOSFET, the meter shut off, which I assume means some kind of ground fault.

I'm complaining about the SSMH I'm building.  There's a bloody buzz in one side and a channel imbalance, and nothing I do makes a damned bit of difference.  I've swapped tubes, replace the mosfets, upgraded the ground plate, double checked the jacks and every connection 3 times.  For the life of...
