    hd25-1 impressions thread

OK, I've testet the velour pads against the stock synthetic pads of the HD25 Light (new version). Currently I have two HD25 Light here, so I can change between them. Comfort: The velour pads are more comfortable. This actually is what you read everywhere :relieved: But IMHO the difference is...

I have the new version. I don't think the old version is available anymore.

    hd25-1 impressions thread

Hi, I've stupidly sold my HD25 about 10 years ago because I prefered over-ear that time. But now I'm back :smile_phones: I've stumbled upon the HD25 Light: quite cheap: 80 € (45 € less than the standard version) lightweight and IMHO also better looking: less flimsy because of single headband...

    TRN impressions thread

Yep, 13 mW seems reasonable for an entry level design. For example marketing for the Fiio UTWS3 also says that they have increased the output power from 14 mW to 38 mW (compared to UTWS1). The power increase then probably woul result in my missing 3+ dB. Regarding the sound quality: I'm not...

    [FiiO UTWS3] True Wireless Bluetooth Module/MMCX/0.78 2pin/QCC3020/TPA6140A2/ Bluetooth 5.0

Seems the battery in my right side UTSW3 is broken. It probably got a deep discharge. Any chance to get a replacement?

    TRN impressions thread

Hi, I've just received my pair of TRN BT20XS. So far they do their job for me, currently driving 7Hz Zeros. They are small an light, that's fine. But: for my use case (replaygained files) the output power/volume could be higher. I did not expect the power of my Qudelix 5k, but still 3-6 dB more...

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

That depends on your preferences. The IE300 are much more bassy compared to the ER4XR. I don't have an ER4XR here and I don't have a IE300 anymore, but I have a IE100 Pro and an ER3XR. Bass is: IE300 >> IE100 Pro >>>> ER3XR

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

A short update to the IE100 Pro: Since I'm using them with the Final E tips I'm really happy with them. I actually did not use any of my other IEMs anymore and also I did not have the feeling to find better ones anymore (which is actually very impressive for me ). Only one thing on...

No, I did not notice something like that. At least I cannot remember

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

Well, with the same tips the biggest difference is the bass quantity. The IE300 have much more bass. But the Final E tips give a fine bass boost to the IE100 Pro, which is really enough for me. The Final E tips are overly bassy on the IE300 for me The stock IE300 tips all have a non perfect...

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

Finally I've decided to send the IE300 back for refund and just stay with the IE100 Pro. After much comparing of the IE300 and IE100 with a lot of different tips I have to say, that the IE300 for me are not worth the triple price. So far my tip recommendations are: IE100 Pro: Final E...

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

And another one: Currently listening with IE100 Pro and Spinfit CP100 tips. A nice match, too. Seems to give the IE100 even a bit more bass than Final E tips.

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

Update: After much more listening I'd recommend the Final E tips for the IE100 Pro. At least if V shaped sound is the right thing for you. But also I have to say that the Final E are no good tips for the IE300. It makes them overly bassy.

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

Fitment is a usual issue I experience with ChiFi IEMs, too. The last one I had to send back for refund was the Moondrop Aria. And the iBasso IT00. Just unusable for me. But there are others like the cheap Blon Mini, which are fine.

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

Funny :relaxed: I had the Aonic 3 here three weeks ago, but decided that it was not the IEM I was looking for (more fun sound). I actually wanted to order the Aonic 4, but then stumbled upon the IE300  I also have the Shure SE215 in the office and without a direct comparison I guess the...

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

My IE100 Pro have arrived today. So far: stock tips are all unusable for me, just like with the IE300. They all don't have a proper seal. Never had those problems with other IEMs. These are working for me: Final E, Comply TSX-400, Azla Xelastec. The Comply work best, because they are less prone...

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

Currently listening with Comply TSX-400 ear tips. They seem to be a bit more comfortable than the stock foam tips. EDIT: First impression: compared to the stock tips it seems they indeed tame the treble a bit, which was the reason I‘ve ordered the version with wax guard.

    Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements

The stock foam tips size M work for me. And also I've already tried Final E size M, which is fine, too. It appears that the Final E size M evolve to be my standard tips on nearly all IEMs :sunglasses:

I have the same issues with the IE300‘s silicone tips. I cannot get a seal with them at any size.

This is the built in equalizer of the Qudelix 5k. I‘ve only used those 4 bands. But in the meantime I‘ve sent the D7200 back for refund because overall I prefer the sound of my D5200.

Oh, an let me add: graphs are lying :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: The last graphs actually were "sensitivy" graphs. This means a more sensitive can can is higher. Here is another graph, with average SPL: But yes: still would like to listen to a D9200...

    Denon AH-7200

Based on my previously posted frequency responses from RAA I've made a slight EQ setting on my brand new Qudelix 5K: After 10 minutes listening this really seems to fix my main issues with the D7200 :beerchug:

    Denon AH-7200

Hi, at https://reference-audio-analyzer.pro I've found frequency response graphs, that fit quite well to what my impression is. Crinacle also has graphs, but his graph for the D7200 just does not fit to what I'm hearing. So here are the RAA graphs: As you can see the 7200 already starts...
