Optimum mp3 rip settings to reduce clipping
This is all pretty futile. If the original wav is clipped then there's nothing you can do to fix that besides lowering the volume. It's still clipped.- Kram Sacul

Binaural v Holophonic
I still think it's sad that binaural recording still hasn't gotten out of the demonstration stage and into something artist and truly creative. The same could be said for 3-D photography and movies except there's been a lot more exposure and success there.- Kram Sacul

EMU1212: Check my setup, and clipping problem
Kind of a late reply but Repert is correct. The clipping meters in Patchmix just indicate that the sound is hitting 100% of the dynamic range. THIS IS NORMAL. DO NOT ADJUST THE VOLUME.- Kram Sacul

How large is your iTunes library?
Because if I had a use for it I would have it. I was kidding when I said I don't know what it is. It's iTunes.- Kram Sacul

How large is your iTunes library?
90,000 songs? How many of them are good though? Seriously. That's a lot of music. I have no use for iTunes either. What is it? A bigger Winamp?- Kram Sacul

Question about LCD monitors
How do you get greater scroller space with 4x3 compared to 16x9/16x10? The screen is wider not shorter.- Kram Sacul

SA5000
The G5 has been known to have problems with dark mousepads, especially Icemats which are made out of glass. This is supposedly fixed in a firmware update but the whole thing just scared me away. Plus there's only one button on the side and the mouse wheel supposedly leaves alot to be desired. It...- Kram Sacul

SA5000
They look pretty sharp next to your Logitech G5. Now if only the SA5k didn't have cable problems and the G5 worked on glass I'd jump on the both of them too.- Kram Sacul

GS-1000 picture compilation
Well, at least it doesn't look as ugly as the HF-1s. Kind of plain without a badge in the midde though.- Kram Sacul

What Song Are You Using As Your Ring Tone?
I use sounds not songs. There's nothing worse than listening to music on a pathetic tiny cell phone speaker.- Kram Sacul

Okay to run the 0404 at “full” volume?
Patchmix is supposed to be set at 0.0 as with wave and asio. Any more and you'll get harmful clipping. Any less and you get... less.- Kram Sacul

Upgrade to 325i or RS2 from SR225?
I'd go with a non-Grado just to see how it compares to the 225s.- Kram Sacul

Grado SR225 Thread
I love my 225s and will probably have them around forever. That being said they sound like crap with bowls, flats, and comfies. The tape mod is the only thing that works to get satisfying sound.- Kram Sacul

Do my SR225 sound different?
The bowls lack bass compared to comfies. Also, if they haven't been used much of course they'll sound like tinny garbage.- Kram Sacul

How well do Grados hold up physically over time?
I must be pretty lucky because the SR-225s I've had for the past 6+ months are mint. None of the silver lettering has rubbed off and the cord has minimal memory. Of course I baby them and am very careful how I store them though. The lettering on the SR-60s I had for less than 30 days chipped...- Kram Sacul

Just Had my Ears Irrigated - What a Difference
I must be pretty lucky because I've never had junk in my ear. Maybe it's because I use q-tips and actually clean in there. I also haven't been babied with ear plugs and all sorts of nonsense like "never stick anything in there". It's your friggin ear. A little warm water and some poking with...- Kram Sacul

LISTEN TO THIS!! Amazing Holophonic Sound...
The matches binaural recording has been posted around here before. Pretty impressive imaging. Every other binaural demo I've heard is nowhere as impressive usually because there's too much going on at the same time.- Kram Sacul
