This is a bit of an oddball question, but has anyone tried the USB DAC functionality of the M9 with a Chromebook? I'm wondering if Chromebooks are more like Macbooks with native support built in, or if a driver is needed (in which case it would be a non-starter on a Chromebook)

That said, is the iPod lineout even a true line out? It seems to me that it's just the headphone output with the volume turned all the way up and no volume control.
