Rio Karma arrived , sound quality impressions ( not so good as it's told to be ..)
I too just got a Rio Karma and I think it's great, but the Riostick seems very shoddy. Is there anyway to stiffen it so it's less loose?- Khazim

Why does everybody hate Limp Bizkit?
I had the first 2 Limp Bizkit CDs. I digged em for a couple years, but luckily that stopped. They were the worst live band I've ever seen (I saw em in 97). The only "nu-metal" band I like is Mudvayne, but I really don't think they should be called that. They're much more than that IMO. The... -
new Radiohead album
I've had Hail To The Thief for over a month now and it's their best CD IMO. It has a nice blend of all their previous albums. I didn't like Amnesiac at all, I liked some songs off Kid A, and OK Computer was my favorite Radiohead CD, until I heard HTTT. I've listened to it probably 30 times and... -

Damnation is here! (new opeth album!)
I got it over a weak ago... great Opeth CD. Opeth is my favorite band, along with Tool. I'll buy it the day it comes out (22nd, I think). I don't know what genre it is, and I don't care. I just like their stuff, and alot. Blackwater Park is still my favorite, followed by Deliverance, then... -
Open headphones for a drummer?
Why open? The V6 would probably be good since they are monitoring headphones, but they are closed. They don't leak, but they don't block much noise at all. I'm a drummer, but I have an acoustic set, so I use them for playing along with music.- Khazim

Tool: Prog, Art, Metal? All? None?
Tool is my favorite been and have been for a long time. My favorite albums are in this order: Aenima Lateralus Undertow Salival Opiate String Tribute (it's not Tool, but it's still quite good) Lateralis is my favorite Tool song. It's the last song they played at the concert I went to... -
Anyone else here hate Henry Rollins?
Henry Rollins is okay. I like his song Liar. He's a pretty funny stand up comic. -
Best Pink Floyd album?
1. DSOTM 2. Animals Then the rest I don't really have an order for. -
shoe fetish?
I'm not into shoes very much. I have a pair of Vans that I wear when it's rainy or snowy out, and a pair of Converse Chuck T Hi-Tops that I usually wear. I'm a drummer and the chuck t's compliment my bass drum pedal well. They're also very comfortable.- Khazim

Drum 'n' Bass
Check out Roni Size & Reprazent - New Forms. I like Drum n Bass, but I don't know many artists. Squarepusher and Aphex Twin are also favorites of mine. -
New Metallica songs review
I'm really looking forward to this CD. I've heard many good things about it. I even heard one of the band members saying it was comparable to Meshuggah. -
What are you listening to _right now_?
I'll just post this since it always updates what I'm listening to: Right now it's Opeth - The Night And The Silent Water, on my crappy SoundBlaster PCI128, crappy JBL Pro speakers. I'm too tired to use my headphones. -
Eggo d66SL vs V6?
I know there's been alot of eggo vs whatever threads lately, but could anyone compare the Sony Eggo d66SL and MDR-V6 for me? I currently have V6s and I like them, but the Eggos seem more portable and more comfortable. Would it be worth it to get some Eggos to replace my V6 headphones and then...- Khazim

new *Radiohead* !

Why'd you pick your username here?
Mines a character from Skies of Arcadia (dreamcast game). I don't like it now though. I mostly use segment or Psykisk.- Khazim

Jewel Cases or CD Wallet?
I use a CD wallet for my PC games and my burned mp3 CDs. I keep my actual audio discs in the jewel case since I don't really bring em anywhere.- Khazim

Advice on MP3/CD player to buy..iRiver?
I have a ChromeX and I like it. I've read that the sound quality is the same as the SlimX's. I don't play regular CDs with my ChromeX for 2 reasons: very low battery life and I hear odd clicking every now and then during the songs. It's great for playing my --alt-preset standard mp3s though. The...- Khazim

Your ultimate band / album
Radiohead's OK Computer, American Head Charge's War Of Art, Nine Inch Nails' The Fragile, Dream Theater's Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence, and Tool's Aenima and Lateralus are IMO the best CDs I own.
