Actually, my Playmate (1) is turned on 24/7 ... i never had any issues with it ... at least, not until now ... hope i don't regret saying this :D So ... not talking about Playmate 2 ... and still on the Burson line ... what's the logic upgrade from Playmate ... Conductor? It's a steep increase...

You can't get new earpads. I'm using Brainwavz XL pads on mine.

Fidelio X3 lost that "signature sound" of the X2, being way more similar to many other offers in the market ( the problem is that for the same price range, you may have better offers right now ) ... the 9600 is just over-priced ... and i love these X2HR prices :D

After checking SHP9600 and Fidelio X3 ... I ended up buying a Fidelio X2HR/00 at 120 EUR over Amazon :D

Some updated. Run some tests ( basic ) ... and I identified the faulty Opamp. It's the Vivid that was in the damaged socket. I tried leaving all the stock opamps and replacing one by one ... and one vivid didn't work at all. I now left 2 Classic and 2 stock opamps. I'm using the damaged socket...
