Nokia Lumia 920 sound quality?
I currently have a Lumia 920 and just received my Shure SE535 a few days ago. Looking to get a cheap portable amp to begin with an update later. Looking for something small which can fit into my pocket. Anybody here using the FiiO E6 or E11? Is it worth going for the E11?- scorpian007

Want to buy new IEM's $300-400
Awesome, thanks for the replies. I'll look up some reviews on what has been suggested. How are the Shure SE535's? They're supposed to be excellent from what I've read and I can get them for $399 shipped.- scorpian007

Want to buy new IEM's $300-400
Hi guys, It's been ages since I last posted and I have been out of the loop with headphones for the past 5 years or so. I'm looking to get new IEM's and want to spend $300-400AUD. I mostly listen to electronic music and will be running my music through my phone (Nokia Lumia 920). I'd like...- scorpian007

How long did it take before you were truly satisfied with your primary cans?
I instantly noticed the difference between my E2c's and E4g's when I got them but it didn't seem a huge step. After about 4 or 5 days of solid burning in, the E4G is simply miles ahead, I can't go back now- scorpian007

128kb/s mp3s - good enough for portable
I too notice a big drop in sound quality when going from 192 or above down to 128, especially with certain kinds of music. I think it has a lot to do with what is going on in the music file at the time so generally I'll encode my MP3s at 192kbps CBR or 192-320kbps VBR0.- scorpian007

The Zen Vision:M, iAudio X5, iRiver H320/340 do this. The ZVM imo is the best- scorpian007

iAudio x5 60GB or Ipod?
The Zen Vision:M 60GB is due out soon, seriously I'd recommend waiting out for that, its an awesome player and when you see the jump Creative have made from the Touch to the Vision:M, you'll be extremely impressed- scorpian007

HD player to get for audio, video and pix?
I don't use video all that much on my Vision:M but I stilll love it to bits because of the fantastic sound quality and excellent screen. It's just a joy to look at when using. And when you do watch videos, its great. The high res TV out is also handy for when you want to watch something at a...- scorpian007

I'd say the ZVM for sure. Dropped it twice onto hard tiled floor from about 1.5-2.0 metres high and it survived both times- scorpian007

Shure e2c to E4c worth the upgrade?
I just upgraded from the E2c's to the E4G's this week (had the E2c's for over a year) and the jump in sound quality is amazing, especially on my Zen Vision:M and when using with my X-Fi at home- scorpian007

Creative Zen Vision: M impressions
Looks pretty good but there's no way I'm paying $60 USD for that. I'll stick to my sync adapter and home made gold plated 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable for now- scorpian007

Looking for veterans of creative mp3 players - help!
Personally, the way I see it is that in 2-3 years when the battery has run its course, I will probably want a new DAP anyway. I've been going through about 2 DAPs a year. Last year: Zen Touch + Zen Micro + iRiver H320 This year: Zen Micro Photo + Zen Vision:M- scorpian007

Looking for a new large capacity player
The Zen Vision:M supports a lot of video formats (DivX, XviD included) so no need for transcoding 90% of the time. The sound quality out of the box is also fantastic not to mention the screen quality when watching videos. Check out some reviews, it's a great player.- scorpian007

Sounds excellent imo, and better once you tweak the EQ. It had no problems powering my Shure E2c's so your E4's should be ok- scorpian007
