Schakal and Sphinx89, i'm not sure, but the connection on the pic is on a awai remote - it has 5 metal bits/prongs. My old sony one for a MD player has 4 metal bits/prongs. Do either of you know if the jack is for a 4 or 5 prong remote? Sorry if i made no sense! nevermind

I asumme from your knowledge that you have one. Would you suggest it? Over an iRiver 120 or 320? How about over a Rio Karma? All i hear about the HD3 is the lack of this and that... no one has been truely happy with it!

Rumz - Thank you VERY much. I've been dying for a review from someone who actually bought and uses the VAIO. Great review! I plan to go to a store and try the VAIO against the iRiver H320. It's a shame the VAIO doesn't have audio in, but i can live without it. I have one more question...

The sony Vaio does look wicked... Size is abit of a problem.... I made a charger(similar to the Belkin) for my iPod, anyone heard of a mobile battery charger for the VAIO or even a tutorial for doing so? Does the NW-HD3 have any ability at all to download photos?
