I use the Nuforce with my Fostex TH600. Works great, though there is a tiny bit of noise I cant hear with the harder to drive HE-400i. Though it drives the 400i perfectly well. The only headphone I have that the nuforce cant power is the AKG k340.

The bag is really only good for dust protection at home. Useless for travel. I think I lost mine because I never had any use for it--I just use a Slappa hardcase.

The DAC 19 doesnt get hot. Barely gets warm. I stack a really hot amp on top of mine. Shouldn't be a problem.

I've heard the TH900 at meets. My basic impression is that it sounded more refined but I'm not really tempted for the price. Not going to be any more specific than that considering meet conditions. I love my TH600. Its bass is just monstrous, though the rumble effect can take on a one-note...

I think the nuforce ha-200 pairs really well. The subbass is off the charts, it adds a little warmth to the mids, and the highs are relaxed.

It definitely has a deep, focused soundstage with excellent layering and separation. Small soundstage, yes, but very different from no soundstage.

Everyone hears things differently, so dont let me influence you too much. I think the PM-3 sound is also tough to categorize. Its best to hear them yourself. Oppo's tour program might still be going on too.

Yeah, i think the PM-3s soundstage clearly improves with better recordings. I wouldnt say the shoutiness is limited to poor recordings though. More like a particular frequency range, especially in complex passages. They have a good amount of xepth, but i still thought they could get congested...

Buzzing is most likely caused by a hair or other fiber glued to the diaphragm, which is a well known QC issue for Hifiman. Interesting thing about that extra hole is that it matches the correction location of the bottom hole on the left side. Almost as if they only manufacture the left side...

It really depends on the headphone. I boost up the bass on HE-400i via EQ and it is maybe 90% as good as the HE-400's bass. But the HE-400i is always going to have a certain character and texture to the bass that's different from the HE-400. Same story to a greater or lesser extent for any two...

The HD650 is more relaxed than the HD600. Both the 600 and 650 are more relaxed than the HE-400i too, but it's not a huge difference.

I own the TH600 and listened to the Omni prototypes. They were just prototypes so YMMV... The Omni and TH600 are tuned very differently. Relative to the mids, the TH600 has more subbass quantity than the Omni because it has a dip in mids. That dip also gives it a very rumbly, subwoofery...

The Vali has more than enough power. It may just have a softer bass presentation than what you're looking for. I'd try EQing up the bass a bit and if that doesn't work, try a solid state amp.

IMO the leakage claims are over stated. I use them at work every day; with typical office background noise, they are completely silent from a few feet away. In a place with no background noise like a library, bedroom, etc., then yes, there is a little leakage, on par with Apple earbuds maybe...
