I'll make a AAC version of all my lossless songs so i can soundcheck all of them. my setup is iPod touch 4g, E6 amp, L3 LOD, and of course the HM5s. if i start to notice a difference big enough to annoy me i'll switch back to lossless.

Quick question: If I have a apple lossless quality song and convert it to AAC(so it can work with soundcheck), will it affect quality at all, even when it says the kbps drops to 256? to my ears i can't very much of a difference but i want to know is there one at all?

i'm burning in my hm5s using an e6 amp + iPod touch 4g. i'm using the cable that comes with the e6 to hook them together. does anyone know if i bought a Fiio L3 LOD, it would be durable enough and would provide even better sound quality than the standard cable that came with the E6?
