Anedio D2 DAC release
Found this old 2007 Stereophile review http://www.stereophile.com/content/linn-ekos-se-tonearm-keel-lp12-subchassis-trampolin-turntable-base-page-3 that gives us an idea of the stock price of LP-12 ... A new LP12 turntable retails for $2810, and a new Lingo power supply adds $1810...- CADiver

I do not disagree (but may be for different reason) with this either and it is also pretty ugly by today's standard. :-) Quote:- CADiver

Anedio D2 DAC release
I do not disagree with this either :-) It is ugly ! Take out the dial, center the display and put a gold chrome faceplate behind will work for me. :-) Think Jadis ... Or use solid hardwood, think Unison Research ... :-) Quote:- CADiver

Anedio D2 DAC release
.... Probably because no one buy a "new" LP-12 these days. Even if there is, I wonder what configuration a new one would really means, is a basic or is it a Cirkus equivalent ? Does it come witha Lingo powers supply by default ? Those are probably some of the factors why no one know what it...- CADiver

Anedio D2 DAC release
Listening to the D2 via USB using JRiver for a day now, it's a pretty impressive little DAC. I compared against a few vinyl and finally had to admit the differences has greatly reduced, I use an LP12. But I would also say it's still miles behind from top notch anlogue like Transrotor or Da...- CADiver

Takatsuki Electric TA-300B
Quote: The TA-300 is all round better sounding than the Carbon Sophia Princess but not necessary against Royal Princess. As a matter of fact, they have different sounding character. Sophia Royal Princess, to me is modern 300B sound, lot of bass weight, impact, fast, tight, it's louder...- CADiver

Sophia Electric Royal Princess 300B
I have both. Princess is nice especially when you swap out the stock Russian/Chinese tube, it's a level above Sevelenta, JJ, it's a more 'hi-fi' 300b tube with a modern sound/presentation. I do recommend them over many similar priced 300b with the exception of Shuanguang black tressure or...- CADiver

Takatsuki Electric TA-300B
Back from a month working in Florida and a weekend diving in Key Largo, was very warm and humid. Since then, 7 days with the amp on with 5 days on the TA-300B and 2 on the Royal Princess and RP is still cooking downstair now .... Anyhow, the latest feel is that the TA-300B is somewhat...- CADiver

Unfortunately, I am travelling and won't be back until October. My amp will remain off until middle of October and then will travel again in November. But I think there will be new owner of TA-300B going to chime in this thread soon when their tubes arrive :-) Quote:- CADiver

Sophia Electric Royal Princess 300B
... well, if the USD $ become stronger .... ....... $800 to $1000 is their MSRP, the exchange rate + shipping kill it. No link on the HF-300B unfortunately. This is an Indianana Jones quest, HF-300B is 30+ years old, same leaque as WE300B. I don't think I will ever get my hands...- CADiver

Sophia Electric Royal Princess 300B
In Japan, a friend shipped to me. There is a retailer in Akihabara Tokyo sell them. With the wimpy US-Yen exchange rate, a pair cost roughy $1500USD. Bare in mind Sophia Electric Royal Princess cost $1200. With those 2 numbers in mind, anytime you see Western Electric below a thousand...- CADiver

Sophia Electric Royal Princess 300B
Hi 300B nuts, I am new and looks like this is a fun place to spend some time ... Coming out of the Quick Silver and Conrad Johnson world, I live with my AudioNote 300B amp since 1997. Went through stock tube, Centron, AVVT, KR, JJ, Sevlenta and finally settle with Sophia Princess for the...- CADiver

Sophia Electric 6SN7?
I have been listening to the SE 6SN7 and Royal Princess for about 4 months now. http://www.flickr.com/photos/9609046@N06/5970263965/in/photostream I am also in agreement that this 6SN7 isn't really that necessary. Worth the money or not is a bit subjective. The glass shape and brass base...- CADiver
