These just came in today and... wow. Undoubtedly the most impressive bass presence I've ever heard on a headphone, even straight out of the box. Fantastic pairing with all kinds of EDM. Too early to tell, but I might go all out on these and get them balanced with some quality cables. Much thanks...

The only things under $50 with any quality that I can think of are too clunky for DJing. Honestly its a toss-up for anything under about the $100 mark (at which point the "standard" DJ solutions from Technics, Pioneer, etc can actually be compared and chosen on preference), and he might as well...

I got these for $35 almost 2 years ago and I'd say it was one of the most satisfying purchases I've ever made (headphones or otherwise). I typically have some buyer's remorse with just about anything I get but I never had that feeling with these. The quality of these is FAR beyond their price point.

Finally decided to order these (largely due to this thread) after much deliberation and they should be in on Tuesday. Based on all the impressions here these seem perfectly suited for my musical tastes, and I hope they live up to the hype.
