What do you think of Xcape IE vs. Xears TD III; do you think they're different enough to warrant having both at the same time? (On the other hand, if it's a straight upgrade I'll probably consider it as well.)

The driver flex on mine only happens on the right, and only during insertion. It's worse with some tips (notably the bi-flange, probably due to higher seal). I doubt it has significant effect on the durability of IEMs though, otherwise people would have raised pitchforks over the slightest...

Ehh beware, recent batches of PL30 don't come with hard cases anymore. I got a soft pouch made of leather-like material. Can't you get some cheap case (e.g. from ebay) instead?

Just got mine as well and so far haven't noticed a problem with it. Tested the bass boost, turning on/off several times, re-plugging, and using the USB and the 3.5 mm. No unusual distortions or anything like that. I suppose it's down to communication with the seller, how lenient they are, and...

Oddly enough it still hums/buzzes when connected to my E7, which is connected to my laptop but not when the E7 is connected to my portable source. Update: Doesn't seem to happen anymore. Last time it happened, I noticed that holding the E7 removes the buzz completely. I'm liking the sound...

Anyone else find them too sensitive? Mine actually buzzes when driven from my horrible laptop sound card. I have a DAC on the way, hopefully that'll fix it.
