Review of W4 with Fiio e11 in one sentence: More detail and energy, better imaging, at the cost of clarity.

The earportz are a definite upgrade from the stock Westone tips. Was using the large grey oval silicone tips before getting the earportz and upon hearing the earportz for the first time I didn't like them so I went back to the oval tips. Correct me if I'm wrong but something in "concept or theory" may not be exactly how everyone perceives the phenomena especially for something so subjective as hearing. And also I think a distinction needs to be made between detail and the perception of detail.    My two cents. 

I have not yet found an artist close to my inner being. Its frustrating to not be able to find something to listen from my music library which is why I've finally decided to learn an instrument and make my own music.

Westone 4 sounds amazing and the wire is magnificent. The shure 535 has a thick cable that is uncomfortable for some and the W4 has a very lightweight cable and very durable.

Hey guys I have a question for the people who own the UHA-4 and the Westone 4:   What op-amp did you choose? Does it matter?   I'm new to amps in general. Thanks!

A question for the people who own the digiZoid ZO: besides the bass improvement, does the ZO improve the overall sound of the W4's? With classical music specifically. Is there an option on the ZO to have no bass enhancement but still help the overall sound?     Thanks, Patrick
