The reason I'm asking this is that I've been disappointed by the iPod Classic 7th gen.'s lack of bass and prominent thin, irritating treble.  I'm wondering if the sound of the player actually affects the sound coming from an amp. As in, does the player interfere with the good sound from an amp?
