disappointed by Sennheiser HD800, need advice
Quote: The PS1000 was a big disappointment, the price tag in Norway is almost 4000 USD and they where not close to my T1. I also think that my K701 is a bit better than P1000.- Vidar1979

The clips are for connecting power cables to the battery. The clips are a temporarily solution, I am going to find a better solution in near future.- Vidar1979

beyer t70 & t70p NEW!
The DT770 Pro have a kind of hammock frequency response, much bass and treble but they are a little on the bright side. But the T1 are a bit dark compared to the HD800.- Vidar1979

Headphone "Sweet Spot"?
I would say that my AKG K701 which costs about 300 USD in Norway is my headphones who balances best price/quality.- Vidar1979

disappointed by Sennheiser HD800, need advice
What about just buying some T1's since you already own the A1 amplifier? I have done some A/B comparisation of T1 and HD800 on a Naim Headline amplifier and I prefered T1.- Vidar1979

Confused about KingRex UD-01 DAC
The cheapest and probably best solution to get the Kingrex to sound good is to connect it to a little gel battery (typical motorcycle battery). The power consumption is low so you can run it for a couple of days before you need to recharge the battery.- Vidar1979
