I would also agree that the soundstage and freq. that you are hearing is subjective. I really like the my 64-Q's. I listen to mine almost 4 times a week and my cable is still perfect. I have had mine since April. If you look at the freq. reponse of the Q's, I will say it apears as if it would be...

yeah.. i saw that piece. Seems pretty nice. As far as portability goes...it turns into a standard conversation at that point...   What cable would you use? USB? into the D/A converter?

So I have searched and never really came across a satisfactory answer so I'll ask straight out..   The ipod has a digital version of the music we listen to, it then gets passed though the 30 pin dock connector and into the 1/8th inch plug into the amp. From the amp into the headphones.   ...

So, I got my 1964 Q's in the mail yesterday evening - took a few pics but haven't ripped them off my camera yet to post. First impression when I opened the bag to see them --> these things are big. Wow...I didn't think my ears were that big.. dang!   To my eyes, I don't see any defects...

i have a set of quads on order as well...we'll see what happens.

maybe i am not looking at this correctly but it appears as thought the freq. sweep for the quads is way more smooth and flatter than the duals. Also, the freq. response is broader on the quads. with a dual crossover vs. a triple crossover. Looking at the specs.. the quads almost 'have' to have a...
